Owen County Tea Party
Saturday May 19th at 6:30 the Owen County Tea Party will meet at the "In Gods Arms" building on 1/2 block South of the Morgan Street light on Main Street.
Businessman Tony Voelker to be the primary speaker. He will be speaking about the burdensome regulations on small business.
Monday May 21st at 4:00 PM. The Commissioner's meeting will take place on the second floor of the Court House in the Commissioner's Room.
Spencer Town Council
Monday May 21st at 7:00 PM. The Spencer Town Council meets in the Spencer Municipal building at 90 North Street.
Spencer-Owen Community School Board
Thursday May 24th at 7:00 P.M.The Spencer Owen County School Board will meet in the Central Office, in the Mike Wells Memorial Board Room, 205 East Hillside Avenue , Spencer, Indiana.
Monday June 4st at 9:00 AM. The Commissioner's meeting will take place on the second floor of the Court House in the Commissioner's Room.
Owen County Council
Monday June 11th at 7:00 PM the Owen County Council will meet in the Commissioner's Room on the second floor of the Owen County Courthouse 60 South Main Street Spencer
Monday June 18th at 4:00 PM. The Commissioner's meeting will take place on the second floor of the Court House in the Commissioner's Room.

Businessman Tony Voelker to Speak to Owen County Tea Party
The next meeting of the Owen County Tea Party will be May 19th at 6:30 PM in the "In God’s Arms" (IGA) building located one and one half blocks south of Main and Morgan Streets (95 W Franklin Street).
The principle speaker will be Owen County Businessman and District 2 Commissioner Candidate Tony Voelker. He is the owner and operator of the Voelker Insurance Agency in Spencer. Having been self employed for 19 years he has an excellent prospective and will be speaking about the burdensome regulations on small business.
He served in the United State Navy for six years in two different nuclear power submarines. He is a devout Christian and elder in his church. He and his wife of 21 years reside on Dunn Road in Franklin Township. They have four children and three grandchildren.
A question and answer session will follow his presentation.
The Owen County Tea Party has vested no candidates. We are open to listen to any candidate for local, state or national office.
